Konyaaltı coast and shore band is an important pleasure resort where turkish and foreign people may go swimming from within the city open to public. Since Konyaaltı beach is the common property of the people of Antalya services as to enable the people from every economical and social class to make use of are provided there. ( the beach has been rearranged and put into service in the year 2002.) It is a 7 km long sand and shingle shore public beach 3 kilometers in the west of Antalya. It is the most crowded place of Antalya which accomodates some multiples of its own population during daytime in summer . Inside the beach there are cafes, restaurants, hotels and pensions. In the Minicity Park erected on a land of 55 acres in front of the Konyaaltı beach 1/25 scale maquettes of 73 important historical monuments in Turkey can be seen.
