Yakutiye Madrasa Turkish - Islamic Works and Ethnography Museum Until recent times, there were additional buildings around the madrasa, which were used as barracks. In 1970s and 1980s, these additional buildings have been destroyed and its surrounding has been re - arranged. The madrasa, whose restoration continued from 1984 to 1994, has been opened to visit as Turkish - Islamic Works and Ethnography Museum on October 29th 1994 as a unit connected to Erzurum Museum Directorate.
